ACGS READING CLUB
Join the ACGS Reading Club on Saturday, September 26 11am EDT for a discussion of “Who is Delia (Bone) Phillips?” by Sherry Gould, published in Volume 51, issue #173. In the article, Gould tackles a difficult brick wall with an ancestor who lacked any vital registrations or clues to her parentage, but the author uses indirect research and tracking surname variations to solve a longstanding question within this family.
Previous sessions have included dynamic conversations about French Canadian genealogical research, documentation methods, breaking down brick walls, and methodology best practices.
All are welcome and it’s free to join us, but registration is required. Registrants will be emailed a copy of the article and discussion questions upon registration, to allow for plenty of time to read.
