- GENEALOGIE QUEBEC * This is the premier Canadian record site that has ALL available church records from Canada. In the “LaFrance” section, records may be searched in multiple ways and where possible results have a link to the original record. There are other sections of the site with obituaries, additional birth, marriage and death transcriptions, notarial acts, etc.
- PRDH – This site is a companion site to LaFrance and has records arranged by family groups. This saves a lot of time when collecting all the relevant information on a family. It is so convenient that it becomes a substitute for searching in LaFrance. However, we subscribe to this site on a “per lookup” basis and ask that you restrict using it to when it is necessary.
- ACGS OBITUARY COLLECTION – searchable database with images of ½ Million Obits from mainly Southern NH from 1980-2000.
- MYHERITAGE LIBRARY EDITION – search the databases of MyHeritage
- PERIODICALS – journals from other societies that we have an exchange program with, alphabetical listing of publications, with full PDF of each issue.
- ANCESTRAL CHARTS -The research department of ACGS, over the years, has researched and created ancestral charts for a large number of surnames. We invite you to use the index provided to search for your ancestors and view the chart.
- ACGS HOLDINGS CATALOG – Our entire holding card catalog from the Library has been uploaded to a searchable database to our website. The database lists all the books, repertories, family histories, and microfilm/fiche that are found in the library.
- ACGS ONLINE LIBRARY – When a search is done of the Holdings Catalog, some results will have a “format” of “PDF”. Those books are viewable online. We currently have over 1000 of our books available in the Online Library and are adding more every day. Holdings with a format of “Dload” (Download) may be purchased in the sales catalog, and all other formats may only be viewed in the library. If there is a resource that you are interested in that is only available in the library and you are not able to come to the library, please email our RESEARCH DEPARTMENT with the information you are looking for.
- The PDFs in the Holdings Catalog are our newest addition to the website and is a work in progress. We currently have just over 900 repertory (parish register) books loaded that we have scanned from our holdings that are from New England and NY. Feel free to explore what is available, there will be new releases to the database as we finish scanning each state and other resources.
