Why Become a Business Partner?
Your sponsorship helps to provide a steady line of resources that allow the American-Canadian Genealogical Society to maintain the library and research center as well as continue to expand the ACGS website for all members and non-members to benefit. Your business will gain more visibility from links on our website, newsletter, journal, and annual reports.
And because ACGS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, your contribution may be tax deductible.
Basic Benefits of Becoming a Business Partner:
1. Recognition as a Business Partner on ACGS website; with your logo and link to your website.
2. Free Admission to the ACGS Research Library with Executive Pass.
3. Free Monthly ACGS Newsletter
4. Recognition as a Business Partner in the ACGS monthly Newsletter with logo and link to your website.
5. Recognition as a Business Partner in the American-Canadian Genealogist, our journal, that is distributed three times a year to over 1,000 addresses, with logo and website shown.
6. Recognition as a Business Partner in the ACGS Annual report. This is printed for our members in attendance at the Annual Meeting, as well as on our website after the Annual Meeting; with logo and website shown.
Levels of Sponsorship for Business Partners:
All levels are an annual rate and must be paid before your information is added to our publications. Day passes listed below can be given out to any of your customers for a free day at the library research center.
Supporter – $100 – Basic Benefits listed above
Partner – $250 -Basic Benefits listed above
*Bronze – $500 – Basic Benefits plus 4 Complimentary Day Passes to ACGS Library. This level qualifies you for a free Silver Leaf on our Tree of Life.
*Silver – $750 – Basic Benefits plus 8 Complimentary Day Passes to ACGS Library. This level qualifies you for a free Silver Leaf on our Tree of Life.
*Gold – $1000 – Basic Benefits plus 15 Complimentary Day Passes to ACGS Library. This level qualifies you for a free Gold Leaf on our Tree of Life.
*Platinum – $2500 – Basic Benefits plus 20 Complimentary Day Passes to ACGS Library. This level qualifies you for a free Gold Leaf on our Tree of Life.
*Diamond – $5000 – Basic Benefits plus 25 Complimentary Day Passes to ACGS Library. This level qualifies you for a Bronze Plaque affixed under our Tree of Life.
* If you elect this benefit, your Sponsorship Fee will not be tax deductible since you are receiving an item of like-kind value. See IRS Publication 526, page 7 – Contributions For Which You Benefit.
To Become a Business Partner:
Option 1:
Step 1: Once contacted by a representative of ACGS and a sponsorship level is selected, payment will be arranged, either check or credit card.
Step 2: Email artwork for the logo and website address to [email protected]. The files need to be either jpeg or png files. Some of our publications will be in black and white or greyscale, so if there is a version of the logo that will work better in this scale, please send both.
Option 2:
Step 1: Once contacted by a representative of ACGS or from viewing this information on the ACGS website; a sponsorship level is selected, and payment is collected.
• Mail Check, payable to ACGS, 1 Sundial Ave, Suite 317N, Manchester, NH 03103 or
• Go to the sales catalog on our website (https://www.acgs.org/catalog/), and do a search for the sponsorship level you would like to select, and complete the checkout process.
Step 2: Email artwork for the logo and website address to [email protected] . The files need to be either jpeg or png files. Some of our publications will be in black and white or greyscale, so if there is a version of the logo that will work better in this scale, please send both.
We will include your sponsorship in the next available publication of ACGS once payment is received and will continue for one year.
