New Hampshire’s rich French‑Canadian heritage stems from decades of immigration from the Province of Quebec. Today, roughly 20% of the state’s population traces its roots to these migrants. When researching French‑Canadian ancestry, the National Archives of Quebec (Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec) serve as the single most important documentary resource. This presentation outlines how BAnQ can support anyone seeking to learn more about their French‑Canadian origins.
This program will be offered live only and will not be recorded. Attendance is limited to the first 100 registrants, so early registration is encouraged.
